Who Rocks You?

This is what I heard from the backseat on the way to Cabelas the other day.

Jake: "Tim McGraw is a rockstar. He really makes me rock!"

Cole: "Yeah, me too. 1-2-3 like a bird I..."

Hudson (with eyes rolling): "Oh, brother!"

Cole and Jake have a favorite song. Don't ask me why, but it is Tim McGraw's "Last Dollar (Fly Away)" (alternatively known as "1-2-3 like a bird I sing" at our house) which, undoubtedly, we can thank Heath for... Anyway, they absolutely love it and request I play it all day every day. They crack me up because both of them can sing every word of the song (although their version doesn't necessarily consist of the same words that Tim McGraw sings). They sing it loud and proud and I can't make them stop. To make matters worse, Hudson hates the song! He groans at each request and says that the song "haunts" him because people are always singing it at school and at home. It certainly doesn't keep Jake and Cole from "rocking"...
