The Question

There is one question asked in my home more than any other question, by far (and with these three, there are A LOT of questions). Here is what it sounds like depending on who's asking.

Hudson: "Mom, have you ever held a snail?"

Jake: "Mom, umm, one time, umm, did you hold a snail?"

Cole: "Did you held a snail, Mom?"

Yes, this apparently is the most important question of their time. It must be something often pondered because I have been asked it repeatedly, at all hours, and for no obvious reason whatsoever. Cole even woke me up at 4:15 am the other morning, just to ask...again.

For any of you also intrigued to know, beware, the answer may render you defenseless to the reeling of your mind - frightened, bewildered, awed, disgusted, disappointed or amused (who knew the power of the snail)...

That's too funny! What's up with the slimy, icky, garden eating snail? Did some wash up on your sidewalk with the recent rain? They did at our house and Seth thinks they were sent to him for his "crunching pleasure." I think I wanna ask... "Mom (Jonna), have you ever held a snake? or tiger? or even a beautiful butterfly?"
