First of all, I had my very first pedicure! Some of my friends from college were here for a little "reunion" day and they had planned pedicures for us all. It was actually quite fun and I realized what a great treat it was for my feet (although because of a recent comical fall I couldn't actually put one of my feet completely in the foot spa). Heath doesn't fully appreciate my low maintenance status, so I might as well add this as a regular event! Too bad they don't have child care at those places...
Later that night, as part of the "reunion," we went to a great little place and heard some live music. Strangely, it was a couple who have their home on a few acres and they invite artists out to play music on their back deck, welcoming the public to come out and listen (for a $10 donation). I'll admit I was a little leery, but we had a great time. We heard 'Matt the Electrician' - a local artist who plays guitar, tells stories, and sings his original music. Heath and I had a really fun time...and Heath even bought one of his CDs which we have listened to over and over. We will for sure visit the Wyldwood again and see what they have in store (http://www.wyldwoodshows.com/).

Wow. Wyldwood looks very cool. I think Mat and I will have to check that out. Hearing live music without having to worry about babysitter, parking, what to wear, etc, etc seems pretty right.

Pedicures are such a wonderful invention! We should have a girls night out with pedis soon...
I am so glad you treated yourself to a pedicure. And now you will have to go again sometime.
I am glad that ya'll enjoyed Wyldwood. Derek looked at me very skeptically when I was telling him about it before ya'll went. Sounds like a fun time.
