Heath is home!
And for 8 days he had the pleasure of taking in this daily vision:
This was my view:

I won't even debate with you whose view was better.
By all reports, he had a great time fly fishing in the mountains and valleys of Colorado. The fish were biting, the weather mostly cooperated, and the camp food was spectacular (all hearsay, mind you)! I thought I'd share a few of his vacation shots for your viewing pleasure.
And for those of you feeling sorry for me because I spent my vacation time at home with the kids, doing laundry, cleaning house, and watching rain fall from the sky,
please accept my heartfelt "Thanks."
In truth, I really enjoyed my time off of work just hanging out with the boys without our usual interruptions. While we had hoped to do some traveling and visit some friends & family while Heath was away, our plans didn't pan out, so we improvised with family fun at home...It was fun doing whatever we felt like doing...we ate french toast for dinner and went to the movies. We took walks in the rain and holed up at the library. We went to bed late and woke up late...
Plus, can you picture me in these waders? So, really, no pity required!
