Off My Rocker...

Random philosophical question for today:

Would true bravery, or perhaps fuller faith, allow me to say how I REALLY feel? Or is it wiser still to press on with my mouth closed tightly while my heart keeps up my conversation with God...?

Important YES, to continue the conversation with God. But also important to feel the freedom to be able to express yourself to whomever it is that you need to talk to. You are not off your rocker - you are showing considerable restraint by pondering this in the first place. I sometimes have that problem of speak now, think later. I hope it becomes very clear to you how to handle this one...

You know what I think. I think. Just in case - we often need to let our spouse know what we really feel, otherwise things build up and explode. And we should talk to our close friends (or family) about how we really feel. It's so freeing - sometimes when I just get it out I immediately feel completely better. Yes, we do need to be honest with God, but He also uses the people in our lives to be His voice, His shoulder... the physical presence that is so reassuring.
